On our way back from Oceanside, we took at detour south of Tillamook and stopped at Munson Creek Falls for a short walk.

On the Beach

We escaped to Oceanside for an overnighter. Only a two hour drive from Corvallis, we arrived mid-afternoon and enjoyed a long walk on the beach before making cioppino for dinner.

First Farmer's Market

Simone checks out the haul from the first Corvallis Farmer's Market of the season: apple cider, kale raab, bread, mushrooms, lettuce, potatoes, garlic, a small slab of jalepeno havarti cheese, and a leek. Yum!

Visiting Tammy

Simone got to go visit our neighbor Tammy while we went to Albany to see Cabaret last night. Tammy let Simone snuggle on the couch while they watched Marley and Me. What a happy girl!

Lilac Shopping

We went shopping for lilacs at Garland Nursery north of Corvallis today. We came home with three five-gallon plants and planted them along the back fence where the butterfly bushes used to be.
