We decided to take a spontaneous trip to the beach today.
We got lucky and had pretty good weather at the beach. No rain and only a light breeze.
Simone wasn't able to walk unassisted, but enjoyed walking on the sand and even ran to play in the water with dad's help.
After she played in the water, we sat on a blanket and watched dolphins swim by and whales spout off in the distance.
Hard not to be worried right now, but we're just trying to enjoy the moment and stay optimistic.
